Classes:

General Info
All our classes are held at our studio in Sheung Wan and run for 50 minutes. Each course is 10 to 13 weeks and run on Saturdays. A detailed schedule with exact dates can be found here. Classes have a maximum of 8 students and children aged 2 and 3 are accompanied by an adult.

Age range:
Our child classes are for age 2 to 5 years at the moment and our adult classes are age 16 and over. 

Class activities:
What happens in class?
The teacher will improvise on the piano and students follow the teacher’s instructions within games and musical commands to move. It is interactive learning in a group setting.

Clothing:
Students should wear loose and comfortable clothing with bare feet or soft dance shoes.

Adult participation:

Why do adults need to attend?
We encourage parents to come with their child. With the mother or father’s active participation in interactive learning, parent and child can build their relationship through exchange in give and take. She/ he actively involve  in the child’s creative learning process. 
Instead of being the instructor to the child’s life, they become intimately involved in fun making and enriching relationship building in personality encounter.

I do not want to participate. Can I watch the class instead?
In normal situation, we encourage each person in the class to participate, unless it’s teacher’s training. 

Does it have to be the parent? Can the parent watch? What will the adult do? 
You can send another adult to accompany your child to participate in the class. However, we encourage parent participation fo building a creative playing experience with your child. Instead of a carer, a parent is also a partner in playing. 

Can I send my child along to the class with someone else?
Yes, it is your choice. 

Booking

Fees:
Our fees are $300 per class, to be paid in advance. 

Discounts:
Advance booking before deadline: 10% off. 
When siblings are enrolled, subsequent siblings receive a 10% discount per child.

Enrollment: 
Trial and regular classes are booked online here. 

Trial classes:

Each child can sign up for one trial class, subject to availability. Trial classes must be booked in advance. 

If I want to join in the middle of the course, is that possible? 
Yes, please contact us here for availability. 

Payment:
Payments are made in advance by cash, cheque or bank transfer. 
If you have paid for a class that you did not attend, the payment can be deferred. 

Private classes

Do you offer private classes? How much are private classes? I do offer individual classes. It is $500 per half an hour.
